We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist,
Sponsorships & Events to join our Marketing & Communications / Strategic
Programs team. This role is located in New York, NY.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in event management, sponsorship activation, client engagement, or related roles, preferably within financial services or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and event management tools, with an analytical mindset for tracking and reporting.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain comprehensive client lists across all BNY sponsorships, related activations, and global cross-line-of-business (LOB) events, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Oversee end-to-end invitation, RSVP, and attendance tracking processes for sponsorship and event activations to drive engagement and inform follow-up.
• Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of sponsorships, activations, and events, delivering insights that inform strategy and investment decisions.
• Coordinate and execute small-scale sponsorship and event activations, managing logistics, vendors, internal stakeholders, and sponsorship assets to maximize value and impact.
