About the position

We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Software Engineering with a strong background in IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an OpenShift/Kubernetes Architect or Administrator. This role requires deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, as well as proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration. The candidate should also have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm, and a strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Day 1 OpenShift activities like building cluster installation and configuration.
• OpenShift Administration.
• Deep troubleshooting skills in OpenShift networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, and service mesh (e.g., Istio).

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an OpenShift/Kubernetes Architect or Administrator.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Expertise in networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, GitOps, and automated deployment pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RedHat ACM/ACS.
• Multi-cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
