About the position

The position involves providing technology skills and capabilities within the Enterprise Search domain. Collaboration with global IT teams and cross-functional teams is essential to tackle challenges at the intersection of healthcare, information, and technology. The position requires 10% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technology skills and capabilities within the Enterprise Search domain.
  • Identify customer search needs and translate requirements into IT solutions.
  • Design and implement Enterprise Search solutions leveraging collaboration platforms.
  • Follow Company's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes through implementation, including documentation preparation.
  • Define and implement enterprise and project-specific information management policies, taxonomies, workflow, and lifecycle management.
  • Assist in designing, planning, building, and operating our Enterprise Search capability as part of the collaboration ecosystem.
  • Define best practices and guidelines for search capability as a subject matter expert for customer interactions and other IT functions.
  • Identify capability gaps and design solutions to address those gaps in Enterprise Search capabilities.
  • Contribute to Enterprise Search roadmaps and future state capabilities.
  • Support solution governance across the Enterprise Search infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with global teams of IT professionals and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the position offered or related.
  • Experience with search technologies and integrating them with collaboration ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Models, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Experience managing and delivering solutions from initiation through implementation.
  • Experience with client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular, React, or NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization, including content processing and document processing.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud integration, including OAuth implementation and Azure Functions.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with SPFx - SharePoint Framework and BCS - Business Connectivity Services Connectors.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts used in technologies such as Azure SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
