Emphasizing safety, quality, and adherence to guidelines, they continuously improve processes to ensure reliable facility operations and a well-maintained environment. Their expertise spans electrical diagnostics and equipment repairs, fostering a proactive approach to maintenance that supports the campus’s functionality and sustainability.

Requirements

Arkansas Electrical Journeyman License
Valid Driver License
Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics, wiring, and generator control systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and three-phase equipment safely and effectively.
Ability to interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs for accurate troubleshooting.
Experience managing inventory, ordering parts, and tracking maintenance expenses.
Demonstrated skills in mentoring and supervising associates to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and commitment to maintaining regulatory standards.
Vocational or Technical certification and 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 9 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
2 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

Generator maintenance & Transfer switch experience is a Plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures.
Inspect, clean, and repair equipment, documenting signs of wear and recommending repairs or replacements.
Conduct major and minor Electrical repairs
Oversee and mentor junior associates, providing onsite training and evaluating skill development.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies while maintaining accurate records and budget information.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to support operational goals.
