Reporting to the Executive Director, Regulatory Affairs, this role is responsible for managing and overseeing the regulatory compliance of the company’s products. This includes preparing and submitting regulatory documents, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, and ensuring that all products meet both domestic and international regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Regulatory Affairs experience or a related field within Cosmetics, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals or Consumer Goods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (read, write, and speak) is required.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work from Distribution Center Office at least 60% of the time.

  • Proficiency in regulatory software and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review ingredients and formulas (Cosmetics and OTC) for compliance across markets (USA, EU, China, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, ASEAN, etc.)
  • Maintain the technical dossier for all products and ensure all required documentation is obtained from Suppliers.
  • Generate and maintain all documentation required for registration purposes.
  • Oversee international registrations for assigned and newly expanding markets, managing submissions for new products and reformulations, and coordinating with Marketing to align on the assortment needed to support each country’s regulatory requirements.
  • Review artwork for compliance and collaborate with Creative team for revisions as needed.
  • Maintain Regulatory database for new launches and existing products.
  • Manage testing for new products which includes receiving sample shipments from Suppliers or Product Development team, creating submission forms for samples to ship to labs, requesting start, interval and end dates to track reports, and reviewing and saving the reports for internal records.
