About The Position

THE ROLE Entegris is growing and seeking a highly motivated Sr. Specialist, Purchasing located in our Burnet, TX facility - 55 miles Northwest of Austin! You will support complex manufacturing lines globally in the company’s Advanced Material Deposition Group! In this role, you will be a source of contact to manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned components. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality products and good on-time delivery performance. Collaborate with planning teams on forecasts to align with procurement plans. Maintain accurate purchase order records and track supplier performance metrics. Implement continuous Improvement processes as needed WHAT YOU’LL DO Create and process standard purchase orders in SAP for approved vendors. Partnering with commodity managers to improve delivery performance and reduce lead times. Monitor lead times and supply risks to proactively adjust purchasing strategies. Ensure delivery of proactive and predictive supply line performance and data in support of manufacturing plants at Entegris. Monitor & execute procurement daily task: Timely conversion of purchase requisitions (PR’s) and placement of relevant purchase orders (PO's), monitor and maintain PO delivery dates, past due PO’s, review/process of MRP exception messages. Define, implement and drive inventory strategies to mitigate demand fluctuations and NPI roadmap changes, including purchasing risk in anticipation of last time buy and end of product life. Identify, standardize, and implement best-in-class processes and tools to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of raw material inventory management. Partnering with material quality engineers to mitigate risk of downtime due to raw material quality issues. Meet and or exceed target on P.E.A.K metrics - “Procurement Execution and KPI’s” (E.g., Vendor OTD, P.O. Confirmation, Unconverted PR %, P.O. Order Acknowledgement, MRP exceptions for pull in, pushout, cancel, etc.) Other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field, preferred.
• 2-5 Years of experience in a similar role, Chemical Industry or Semiconductors, preferred.
• Must have SAP (Intermediate level) and Excel skills
• Sound understanding of the MRP, ERP, Purchasing Business Environments & SAP.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• APICS Certified preferred.
