About The Position

L3Harris is looking for a Program Planner/Scheduler to serve as the coordinator for schedules, often between VSCS Program management team at the Tech Center, VSCS Program Management Office (Washington DC) and Lab usage/access among project leads. The position will be responsible for managing and maintaining various master schedules, attend various project and lab coordination meeting. The position interfaces with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is the point of contact to provide technical expertise related to program scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • Experienced with Project management software such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project etc.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with multiple groups to manage project and Lab schedule.

  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage schedule for current and upcoming projects.
  • Ability to interpret schedule related data from multiple entity and implement into Project Management/Scheduler software.
  • Align with project leads and functional area leads of the VSCS Program to resolve any unplanned/unanticipated constraints/conflicts at the master level schedule.
  • Relay upcoming deadlines and priorities to associated personnel on the VSCS Program including project lead, functional lead, support engineer, FAA Management etc.
  • Attend various meeting such as project’s status meeting, Product Change Board (PCB) meeting, Project Leads meeting etc.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust clearance
