Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience, or 10 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

  • Master's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
  • Demonstrated managerial level of leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management and business development practices.
  • Experience with DoD contract execution.
  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading all phases of programs: planning, execution, strategy, and management.
  • Drive program action to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue, profit, and cash flow for an existing program.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for designated project areas working with a program lead or manager to achieve results.
  • Act as customer contact for program activities, leading review sessions with customers for assigned aspects of proposal development, negotiations, and execution.
  • Coordinate program support, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on time and on budget deliveries.
  • Provide general program direction, control, and coordination under minimal direction.
  • Manage and direct assigned programs, defining and understanding program scope, managing overall schedules and budget.
  • Assure contract performance responsibility is properly delegated to performing organizations and outside suppliers.
  • Develop and implement plans for follow-on production programs including proposal development, submittal, negotiation, and definitization.
  • Participate in the forecast of awards/margins and sales/profit for assigned programs as part of the L3Harris business planning cycle.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to the project team in meeting established schedules or to resolve complex technical or operations problems.
  • Effectively utilize functional organizations to integrate research and development, production, quality assurance, test, production support, procurement, contractual and financial data.
  • Act as the primary interface for communications with the customer and be accountable for the successful accomplishment of all contractual requirements.
