About The Position

The Acoustic Systems Division is seeking a Senior Specialist of Program Finance to join our team in Millersville, MD. This role will be responsible for partnering with Program Managers, and cross-functional teams to provide financial leadership across program planning, execution, and performance measurement. Their role will perform monthly Earned Value, quarterly EACs, and weekly financial risk and opportunity assessment for Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cash.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field and requires a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and minimum of 4 years prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years prior related experience.
  • 6-10 years’ experience in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and provide guidance to Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership related to financial performance
  • Development of quarterly EACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
  • Responsible for influencing day-to-day execution of all financial activity related to Programs, Proposals, Reviews, including the development of strategies necessary to achieve program financial goals
  • Lead program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting, cost accounting and overseeing of cost and schedule integration
  • Partner with IPT members to execute baselining, Estimate to Completion (ETC), and change management processes.
  • Ensure program EAC adherence to L3 Harris AC-13 and PMO-05 policies. Evaluate, make recommendations and implement corrective actions where gaps exist
  • Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and schedule risks
  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively work with people of all levels within the organization
  • Ability to proactively solve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with limited supervision
  • Strong sense of initiative, independence, closure, with ability to navigate multiple priorities within tight-deadlines
