About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Production Planner to join our Materials Management team. This position will be based at the Burnet TX facility. The Production Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. This role collaborates closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to align production plans with customer demand and inventory targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency in SAP PP and MM modules strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-mix environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and inventory management principles

Nice To Haves

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, or changes in demand
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment among production, inventory, and customer delivery goals
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, schedules, and performance metrics
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling processes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding schedule changes, priorities, and potential risks
