About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Product Experience Design at Mastercard Foundry is responsible for driving product innovation in emerging technologies and interfaces. This role focuses on enhancing existing solutions and developing new use-cases while delivering user-centered design solutions for B2B and B2B2C digital data products. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal user experiences through the Design Thinking process and agile execution.

Requirements

  • Experience in UX design for digital products from concept to launch.
  • Experience in Design Thinking and Human-centered design.
  • Excellent interaction design skills in prototyping and interaction models.
  • Ability to leverage and follow design systems.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clean and aesthetic design outputs.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.
  • Ability to travel, anticipated to be less than 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Passion for data products, including data/information visualization.
  • Product design experience in the payment, banking, or FinTech domains.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping and Lean UX.
  • Passion for working in a global, highly diverse, multicultural working environment.
  • Specialized training/experience in User Experience Design, User Interface Design, Human factors, Usability, or Information Design.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design process and deliverables for various digital products.
  • Advocate for the importance of a design thinking mindset within the organization.
  • Participate in Design Thinking activities with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and fellow designers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver user-centered design solutions.
  • Work with researchers to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Select and conduct appropriate user-centered design techniques through pair-design processes.
  • Propose design decisions influenced by user research findings.
  • Create and test design solutions through an iterative process.
  • Produce and iterate on experience artifacts including user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
  • Study and adopt the design system to ensure alignment with Mastercard's design standards.
  • Contribute to team values and culture priorities.
