About The Position

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) is looking for a senior Material Program Manager to support the Range & Test Solutions business area. The Program Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned programs while achieving key business results and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Project/Program Manager. Alternatively, graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain and material planning
  • Advanced knowledge of Project/Program Management methodologies and practices
  • Experience in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes.
  • Up to 20% of travel may be expected.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD programs and Provisioning
  • Subcontract Management experience
  • Formal training in Project Management
  • PMI certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Active DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
  • Serve as primary liaison between Supply Chain Management and other functions for key programs/products
  • Manage key supplier performance and relationships
  • Lead supplier recovery strategies, communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actions
  • Optimize and manage procurement processes for compliance and efficiency
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
  • Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
  • Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
  • Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
  • Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
  • Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
  • Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities.
