Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Level 4) Job Code: 24006 Job Location: Orlando, FL Job Schedule: 9/80 work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Electrical, Systems and Test engineering experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Requires strong knowledge of job area.

  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., Xpedition Designer, PADS) and simulation software (e.g., PSPICE).
  • Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and their application in the design and integration of electrical systems.
  • Experience in supporting execution of complex technical projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the detailed design, development, integration, and test of electrical systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to a wide variety of problem-solving efforts throughout the design and development process.
  • Support the planning and execution of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Apply systems engineering principles to ensure the integration and compatibility of electrical systems with other subsystems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to achieve project objectives.
