About The Position

The Senior Specialist - Data Engineering will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions, reports, and dashboards using SAS Viya tools like Visual Analytics. This role involves applying advanced analytics and statistical modeling within the SAS Viya environment, utilizing Base SAS, SASMacro, SASSQL, and CAS procedures for data manipulation, preparation, and transformation. The specialist will collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and manage data for analysis.

Requirements

• Strong SAS programming skills including Base SAS, SASMacro, and SASSQL.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Viya modules such as Visual Analytics and Visual Statistics.
• Experience with data management, data modeling, and creating high-level design documents.
• Proficiency with CAS procedures and the CAS programming language (CASL).
