About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Corporate Events is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of internal and external events that support employee engagement, brand visibility, and stakeholder relationships. This includes supporting flagship programs such as Circle of Excellence, community building events like National Night Out, partner activations, and support industry events like CES. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, creative, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects with precision and polish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Must live in the Boca Raton/South Florida area. Position is required to be in the office 4 days a week plus one flex day.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate event planning, with a mix of internal and external event experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on their feet during live events.
  • Frequent travel (up to 40%) with night and weekend availability for events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and management tools (Cvent, Asana).

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, including internal recognition programs, community engagement events, partner activations, and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (communications, HR, marketing, leadership) to align event goals with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for assigned events.
  • Coordinate core team meetings for each event, including preparing agendas and pre-meeting communications, facilitating logistics discussions, and tracking progress.
  • Research and manage logistics including venue selection, transportation and travel coordination, catering and menu planning, and swag sourcing.
  • Lead on-site execution and troubleshoot in real time to ensure seamless experiences.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners, assist in contract negotiations, and ensure service-level agreements are met.
  • Coordinate with external partners for co-branded or sponsored events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support event themes, branding, and messaging.
  • Help design engaging and memorable experiences that reflect ADT’s culture and values.
  • Manage promotional giveaways and branded materials for each event.
  • Track event performance metrics and gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for future events.
