The Sr. Contract Support Specialist is part of the CARFAX Financial Operations team and plays a key role in ensuring contract accuracy, customer eligibility, and initial billing setup. In addition to managing daily contract processing through Salesforce and other channels, this position drives process improvements and supports operational excellence across the Contract Support team. This position will require 3 days a week in our Centreville, VA office, subject to change with future business needs. Our office will be moving to Reston, VA in 2026!

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial contract support, billing operations, or financial/contract administration.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis)
  • Proficient Salesforce skills in case/queue management; experience with reporting and dashboard building is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable engaging with Sales, Finance, Customer Care and other internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and Excel skills to identify gaps, drive process improvements, and improve SLA performance.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret new contracts' terms and apply established business rules consistently before activation and billing set up
  • Process existing contracts and account maintenance requests within Salesforce
  • Evaluate prospect customers for eligibility.
  • Partner with Sales and internal teams to resolve escalations, applying judgment to complex contract issues.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and SLA standards across multiple contract support request categories
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies through case data analysis, recommend improvements, and help implement solutions that drive SLA improvement and reduce backlog.
  • Assist with training new and junior specialists to raise overall team capability.
  • Participate in department-wide projects, audits, and system enhancement initiatives.
