The Senior Specialist, Benefit Sales provides senior level support for member enrollment activities, including identifying, interviewing, and screening prospective eligible members for Molina health insurance products. This role involves assisting with health plan selection and enrollment processes, processing paperwork, and ensuring documentation accuracy and follow-up. The specialist also develops and maintains relationships with local community agencies, health care organizations, and county/state agencies that refer potential eligible members, and represents the company at community-based outreach events to aid enrollment efforts. Key duties include assisting with inbound/outbound calls to support facilitated enrollers in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual member enrollment goals, leading projects, and providing support across initiatives such as quality checks and marketing tracking. The role requires maintaining a monthly facilitated enrollment calendar, demonstrating strong time-management skills, and participating in the design and implementation of enrollment-related process improvements. The Senior Specialist must maintain a high level of professionalism, possess expert knowledge of current enrollment processes, rules, and regulations, and serve as a resource and trainer for the facilitated enroller team. They will also offer solutions to leadership, conduct research, monitor daily enrollment operations, and meet with prospective members in the community to provide education and assistance with the application process, ensuring documentation completion. Maintaining member privacy in accordance with HIPAA is also a critical aspect of the role.
