About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Aviation Operations supports the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of flight operations. This role combines operational planning, risk assessment, financial processing, and administrative support to ensure the delivery of high-quality aviation services and regulatory compliance. What you'll do... Plan and schedule domestic flights and crew resources based on availability, mission needs, and operational risk factors. Accommodate changes in customer schedules and assess impacts to aviation assets. Review and enter flight logs accurately into aviation systems. Process and verify invoices, initiate ACH/wire transfers, and support account reconciliation and budget tracking. Maintain required aviation documentation (licenses, certifications, fuel cards) and assist with reports to regulatory agencies. Ensure adherence to company policies and FAA regulations. Coordinate meetings, agendas, and logistics for aviation events. Facilitate communication among departments (maintenance, operations, safety) and provide subject-matter expertise during non-scheduled events. Identify opportunities to enhance standard operating procedures. Requirements

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and consistently protect all sensitive information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related area and 3 years’ experience in flight operations planning or related area.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Dispatcher License and 3 years’ experience in flight operations planning or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in flight operations planning or related area.
