The Senior Special Inspector performs inspection and testing services on some of the most dynamic and high-profile construction projects in the Boise region, supporting safe, code-compliant, and high-quality project delivery. This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to interpret construction documents, and clear communication with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with approved plans and applicable codes.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
- Perform special inspections in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Read and interpret construction documents, RFIs, and structural details
- Conduct required field testing and inspections within certification scope
- Prepare accurate and timely daily reports
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and internal staff
- Maintain and pursue relevant certifications
- Uphold strong safety practices in all field environments
- Participating in continuing education and professional development
