Working as the Senior Sous Chef at Andrews University, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful operation of the Culinary Department for a diverse, high-volume campus dining program. This operation includes an all-you-care-to-eat café, a fast-casual café with c-store offerings, two additional small retail locations, a weekly food-truck program, and robust internal and external catering services. The campus is 100% vegetarian, offering an exciting opportunity for culinary creativity and leadership in plant-forward cuisine. You will assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items, including developing daily menu items and overseeing their preparation and garnishment. You may be responsible for supervising hourly associates and working closely with the Executive Chef/Chef to develop new menus, support ordering, and ensure consistent execution across multiple concepts.
