About The Position
The Senior Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations. This role includes supervising food preparation, developing menus, executing catering events, and ensuring high standards in quality, presentation, and sanitation. Requirements
- A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent certification and relevant experience.
- Proven experience in culinary or kitchen management.
- Strong knowledge of food trends, cost control, sanitation, and presentation standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related technology.
Nice To Haves
- Catering and high-volume foodservice experience preferred.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Willingness to participate in customer satisfaction initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing food and labor costs.
- Support menu planning, recipe development, and production execution.
- Lead and mentor hourly kitchen associates.
- Coordinate and produce catering events.
- Implement new culinary programs in partnership with company culinary and marketing teams.
