About The Position

In this role, you will be a strategic resource dedicated to managing day to day sourcing activity for Captis in the Vizient and aptitude systems. You will partner with Mayo Clinic, Captis staff and internal Vizient business units to perform various functions focused on delivering best in class service and support to the Captis membership.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in business/health care preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in Supply chain, consulting, management, health care, sales/marketing, supplier, or contract management preferred.
  • Excellent account management and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence various levels in an organization.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a face-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Software products (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel).
  • Understand and conduct financial analysis with qualitative/quantitative assessment of data.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships with Mayo Clinic / Captis sourcing teams through ongoing connections and interactions focused on common goals.
  • Partner with team to develop on-going pipeline and opportunities for growth.
  • Work within team to define and maintain Captis member relationships to support and facilitate technology training and general support of strategic operational activity.
  • Establish and maintain internal relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration to meet external stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of RFP process and contractual terms to provide guidance through the contracting process.
  • Lead and facilitate negotiations with key suppliers to drive value in RFP process.
  • Leverage applicable technologies, including the aptitude platform to complete necessary aspects of the RFP process.
  • Manage various reports through internal systems, collaborating with Mayo stakeholders throughout the RFP process to ensure accurate categorization and alignment with the initiative's scope.
  • Collaborate with internal and external analyst to develop reporting insights to support contracting process.
  • Conduct ongoing contract maintenance activities, including product, price and membership updates.
