About The Position
The Senior Sourcing Engineer will serve as Project Leader for a global initiative to consolidate the current electronics distribution network to enhance visibility, lower lead times, increase buffer inventories, lower costs, and position for continued global growth. This role is ultimately responsible for interfacing with component manufacturers, distribution channels, and PCBA contract manufacturers to pull in component supply and inventory buffers. The engineer will execute purchasing responsibilities to maximize supply continuity, growth potential, and profitability of the business unit (BU).
