Make a Difference The Senior Sourcing Analyst supports strategic sourcing activities to achieve significant cost reductions and standardization of products and services across the Network, while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels. This role partners with the Director of Strategic Sourcing to conduct competitive bidding processes for direct and indirect commodities and services, typically through Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Responsibilities include analyzing responses, performing cost-benefit analyses, developing reports and presentations, and presenting findings to management teams within Supply Chain, internal customers, and leadership. The Senior Sourcing Analyst also mentors team members, modeling excellence in sourcing and contracting practices, and driving mastery of processes within the team.

Requirements

• Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospital administration, or related field required. In lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in a strategic sourcing or buying position (preferably in healthcare) required.
• Strong relationship-building skills with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, negotiate, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system knowledge preferred.
• Expertise in cost-benefit analysis, data analysis, and report development.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare products, sourcing, and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated experience in change management, process improvement, and team building.

Responsibilities

• Change Management & Compliance: Drive compliance with Group Purchasing Organization and Network goals. Lead change initiatives related to standardization, utilization, and technology adoption to support cost savings and improve effectiveness.
• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Conduct competitive bidding processes, analyze responses, perform cost-benefit analyses, and negotiate favorable purchase terms. Leverage group purchasing agreements and research markets to identify vendor sources and product availability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Value Analysis teams and stakeholders to align contracts with Network needs. Facilitate meetings and maintain strong communication with internal and external partners.
• Contract Management & Analysis: Analyze vendor contracts for cost-saving opportunities, confirm pricing compliance, and identify alternative sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
