Acquisition.comLas Vegas, NV

About The Position

ACQ Media is the in-house media engine behind Acquisition.com and its portfolio of brands led by Alex Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, and Sharran Srivatsaa. Our mission is to build the leading business media organization in the world by 2030. We produce high-performance long-form series, podcasts, and daily social content that reach millions of people around the globe. Our content is not vanity media, it is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen brand influence, and create downstream business impact across the entire Acquisition.com ecosystem. We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI-native production systems. We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time. If you’re joining ACQ Media, you’re not here to just make content. You’re here to help build a media powerhouse. Role The Senior Sound Designer is the audio authority within ACQ Media's post-production department, responsible for leading all production and post-production audio across multiple high-profile series simultaneously. This role owns the sound, from set through final mix, ensuring that every piece of content delivers a consistent, premium audio experience that matches the creative intent of each brand. You will directly manage a team of sound designers, setting standards, mentoring growth, and building scalable audio workflows. You will work hands-on with high-profile talent during production recordings and will drive the final audio mix and sound design across long-form series, podcasts, and social content in post. This is a leadership role for someone who has mastered the craft and is ready to elevate others. We are looking for an A player without the ego — someone who leads by example, shares knowledge freely, and makes the team around them better every single day. Reports directly to the Director of Post-Production. Must be in Las Vegas, NV or willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in professional sound design and audio post-production, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring other sound designers or audio professionals
  • Deep expertise in production audio, dialogue editing, sound design, music integration, and final mix for long-form and short-form content
  • Experience working directly with talent on set in high-pressure, high-profile production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple series simultaneously without dropping quality or missing deadlines
  • High taste level: you have strong instincts for what makes audio feel premium, immersive, and on-brand
  • Familiarity with AI audio tools (including but not limited to iZotope RX, Adobe Enhance, or equivalent, etc) and a genuine curiosity for what's next
  • Comfortable working within project management systems (Monday.com) and collaborative post pipelines
  • A genuine team player! You give credit, share knowledge, ask for input, and make people feel heard
  • Strong communicator who is direct, transparent, and solution-oriented when challenges arise

  • Deliver broadcast-quality mixes across long-form series, podcasts, DTCs, and social cutdowns
  • Ensure sonic consistency across all content for each brand
  • Collaborate closely with video editors, creative directors and the Director of Post-Production to ensure sound design and mix decisions serve the story and creative direction
  • Manage audio finishing and QC across multiple series simultaneously without compromising quality or timelines
  • Build and enforce standardized audio workflows that reduce errors, revision cycles, and last-minute fixes
  • Create clear intake and handoff standards so production recordings land in post clean and organized
