About The Position

The Motorola Solutions North America Industry Team is a support group who will work closely with various departments at the highest levels , including Operations, Marketing and Sales to assist in strategy for their supported region: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work networking events such as IACP, APCO, NENA, MCCA, MCSA, NOBLE, NAWLEE, FBI NA, Summit, and NEI; Using the opportunities to bridge the connections to the regional leaders Selectively work smaller events with the local account teams and key customers where relationships or experience beyond local team reach is needed Develop and/or maintain relationships with Public Safety Agencies in the assigned region while introducing the account team to build their relationships Provide thought leadership to assist customers in user adoption and to enable the most efficient use of their investments in Critical Communications, Command Center Software, Video Security, and Access Control Strategize with Sales to uncover new opportunities for customers with sales as they build upon investments to lay the groundwork to uncover new deals and opportunities into the future Assist with Motorola presentations at large technology showcases to educate on how to operationalize our products and evangelize the entire ecosystem Assist with training and development of new hires and current employees on the Ecosystem narrative Attend RVP and TVP meetings in the assigned region to stay abreast of opportunities and to provide support where needed Be more involved with SPT/strategic type deals and accounts and connect more frequently with the Lobbyist on strategy Work with Marketing and Operations, on the development of video content used to reach our customer base and to help drive success stories Work with Product on enhancements and improvements to MSI software solutions Serve as lead presenters and facilitators during orals and larger customer opportunities Participate in regular discussions with Aware managers and developers to recommend ways to improve the platform and modernize the UI based upon customer needs and requests Perform all other duties and assignments as defined by management

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 4+ years of experience as an Executive/Command Level Law Enforcement Professional

Responsibilities
