About The Position

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll serve as a senior technical and business advisor responsible for driving complex enterprise sales engagements and shaping how project44 delivers value to the market. This role is both strategic and hands-on, you will lead technical discovery and solution design for our largest customers, mentor the next generation of Solutions Engineers, and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to influence the direction of our platform. You are a storyteller, technologist, and strategist who can articulate how project44 technology transforms global supply chains, and back it up with architectural depth and operational know-how.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or consulting within SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of global supply chain, transportation, and logistics processes.
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with measurable impact.
  • Strong grasp of cloud architecture, APIs, integration frameworks, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills- able to distill complex technical concepts for C-suite audiences.
  • Proficiency in leading workshops, designing Proofs of Value, and delivering quantifiable ROI analysis.
  • Familiarity with programming concepts, SQL, and information security standards (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical strategy and solution design for complex global enterprise opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority during sales engagements-partnering closely with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Translate intricate customer challenges into scalable, high impact project44 solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain visibility, transportation management, and digital transformation.
  • Stay current with evolving industry trends (logistics automation, APIs, AI/ML-driven visibility, IoT) and advise customers on how project44 technology can drive innovation.
  • Design and deliver sophisticated demos, proofs of concept, and value assessments aligned to executive-level business outcomes.
  • Execute customized product demonstrations that speak to the specific needs of the prospect.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders—presenting technical visions and ROI analyses that influence long-term partnerships.
  • Represent project44 at industry events, webinars, and customer councils as a thought leader.
  • Mentor and coach Solutions Engineers, elevating team performance and consistency across global regions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap through market and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
  • Support enablement initiatives to scale best practices across the global Solutions Engineering organization.
