Serve as core member of the Cloud Infrastructure Team, for the Dept. of the Air Force. This team is responsible for establishing the processes, technology, documentation, and providing user support to allow the internal EITaaS team to access and use services within both the Production and Pre-Production Azure Cloud environments. This team, technology, and processes support not only the internal EITaaS team, but also the Dept. of the Air Force. You will work with your manager and other cloud engineers to provide leadership in the execution of requirements, priorities, and objectives as defined to support the EITaaS engagement. This includes participation in strategizing, planning, designing, deploying, testing and documenting cloud solutions. Your senior Azure experience in supporting complex and custom deployments, plus your use of Azure CLI and PowerShell are critical for success. You will participate in the full life cycle of activities while ensuring product success follows all established processes and standards, including DoD and DAF policies. Your hands-on Azure cloud expertise, understanding of STIGS for Windows/RHEL VMs and how to implement a secure PaaS/IaaS environment are standard capabilities in this role. You will support the other Cloud Engineers on the team by providing hands-on engineering, administration, guidance and mentoring support. Flexibility and adaptability are ways of life here on the EITaaS team, so if you are comfortable breaking out of the mold and have a passion for learning new technologies, while applying your existing experience, then this position may be exactly what you are looking for.
