Based in Houston, Texas, with offices in London and New York, SynMax is a pioneering data intelligence company specializing in maritime and energy intelligence. By integrating advanced satellite imagery and AI, SynMax delivers unparalleled insights into maritime operations, oil and gas development, coal inventory, and LNG flows, enabling businesses and organizations to make data-driven decisions with precision and confidence. About the role SynMax is looking for an experienced reservoir engineer with strong minerals and royalty evaluation experience to act as the technical expert for our customers. You will help users understand how SynMax fits into their existing workflows, support the sales process as the technical lead, and provide product feedback based on real-world engineering needs. Serve as the subject matter expert for minerals and royalty evaluations, reserves, decline curve analysis (DCA), and type-curve workflows. Help position SynMax minerals and reserves workflows as a trusted alternative to traditional decline-curve and economic modeling tools. Lead technical discussions with prospects and customers, including demos, workflow design, and evaluation setup. Create repeatable, easy-to-use template workflows and demo patterns that help both internal teams and customers get value quickly. Partner closely with product and engineering teams to represent the voice of the customer and influence roadmap priorities. Provide training, onboarding, and best practices for new users, focusing on scalable, systematic enablement rather than ad-hoc support. Review forecasts, type curves, and reserves outputs to ensure technical accuracy and build customer confidence in results. Build and refine standard evaluation setups that reflect how leading minerals and reserves teams work in practice.
