Requirements

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to listen and understand customer problems.
  • Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team.
  • Domain knowledge of two or more of the following: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Programming (HTML).
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and a team player attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Pre-sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Customer Success.
  • Ability to operate at the intersection of technology and storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process.
  • Bring extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear.
  • Lay strong foundations for long-term partnerships between Braze and customers.
  • Act as a technical thought leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets.
  • Blend storytelling and sales with technical knowledge to deliver value for customers.
  • Help build prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities and team.
  • Mentor Solutions Consultants on the team.
