About The Position

We are a rapidly growing B2B payments fintech headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Our mission is to revolutionize payment solutions for businesses, fostering innovation, efficiency, and scalability. We’re proud to partner with industry leading financial institutions to bring best-in-class solutions to their clients. We’re looking for a passionate and consultative Senior Solutions Consultant to support our Direct and Channel Sales teams. In this role, you’ll be a critical link between our sales team and our prospective clients ensuring seamless solution integration, exceptional service delivery, and strategic growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience -- ideally in a consultative solution consulting, pre-sales, or technical sales role, preferably in B2B payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Exceptional consultative selling and relationship management abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts in business terms -- specifically in training and sales capacities.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Fluency or strong proficiency in accounting processes, back office systems and best practices for automation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with payment platforms, APIs, and software solutions; ability to engage in technical discussions.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 15-20% domestic travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Consultative Selling: Collaborate with Direct and Channel sales teams and their prospective clients to understand business needs, present tailored invoice and payment solutions demonstrations articulating the value of our offerings.
  • Client Engagement: Join joint calls with the Account Executives to guide solution discovery, technical deep dives, and implementation planning.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with internal product, sales, and technical teams to address partner and client requirements, feedback, and opportunities.
  • Solution Expertise: Stay current on our product portfolio, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide insightful recommendations and strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Serve as a trusted advisor and problem-solver for Direct and Channel Sales teams and clients, proactively resolving obstacles to drive positive outcomes.
  • Industry Events and Webinars: Attend Industry events and Webinars professionally representing AvidXchange to prospects, customers and partners.
