We're building a more open world. Join us. Senior Solution Architect Introduction to team Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our 'demand partners', include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more. Expedia is looking for experienced technologists with strong technical capability as well as business acumen, with the ability to think strategically while defining technology solutions that solve the complex business needs of our partners. In this role, you will: Be responsible for defining software and solution packages that solve the needs of our clients Be part of our amazing technology organization within Expedia Group where you will learn and grow as a key contributor to our engineering teams, playing a critical role working closely with our teams as well as top travel industry client partners You will work with clients, sales, and incubation teams to gain a clear understanding of the overall business goals and objectives of our clients You will understand any opportunities or gaps in the technology supporting their business and build solutions that address this by leveraging the technology and capabilities within Expedia's Travel Platform. You will map out the necessary components to design an overall package of solutions In selecting the right technology to address partner needs, you will also incorporate a number of technology, architectural, and operational considerations in the overall design and approach for the solution, including consideration for security, resiliency, and integration standard methodologies while incorporating partner and internal system requirements You are the primary interface working directly with the client and their technical team The Solution Architect plays a key role in selecting the right technology components for adoption, addressing the business needs of clients, and ensuring a positive outcome for our travel ecosystem Competitive salaries and many growth opportunities within the company You will get the opportunity to serve as a domain specialist in multi-functional feature delivery Option to attend conferences globally and enrich the technology skills you are passionate about A conversation with your Manager around flexible working and what is right for you is encouraged from day one

Requirements

• Experienced in sophisticated technology problems and able to communicate them to non-technical people
• Worked directly with clients and capable of mapping business problems with technology solutions
• Choose fearlessly - Build a clear vision of client needs, apply analytical and technical skills, and define the solution that best solves the opportunity
