Software Engineering manages the development of our suite of tech products to ensure all pharmacy benefit management services are up to date and bringing the best quality of service our clients need. As a Senior Software Testing Engineer, you’ll be responsible to collaborate with Software Engineers and System Analysts in devising testing strategies and test settings for assuring the highest level of quality in our systems. You’ll work hands-on with developers casting their eye over everything while aiding in the understanding of business requirements and functional specifications to best identify how to construct Test Cases. In addition, you’ll create, execute and document Test Cases carried out on existing functionalities and for new features and/or fixes set up into our platforms and systems. The fundamentals for the job… Collaborate with Agile Team members (Product Owners, System Analysts, Software Engineers, Software Automation Engineers, Database Developers, DevOps Engineers and more of your Software Testing peers). Write test plans and test cases that meet the expected business requirements and functional specifications. Trace together your Test Cases to Functional Specifications to form your traceability matrix and assure compliance with system specifications. Collaborate with the Software Automation Engineering team to automate Test Cases into User Interface (UI)-based Automated Test Cases and Integration Test Cases. Execute manual test cases and scenarios, including Functional, Integration, and Regression test cases. Automate manual testing cases using our frameworks. Become an expert in all our software platforms, so that they call you the Testing know-it-all. Document and mitigate for deviations (also known as defects, incidents, or non-conformances) whenever an expected result in your test case is not achieved during execution. Testing web applications, analyzing results and communicating them to stakeholders. Participate in team discussions, design workshops, and Scrum Sprint ceremonies like Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives. Research and resolve issues, or at least offer possible solutions. Track, probe, dissect and keep stats, to manage to resolve all raised deviations. Engage as a business supporter and liaison between technical team members and business stakeholders/end users. Contribute to establishing Test-related strategies, planning and execution. Support colleagues within and outside your team as platform contributor and team coach.
