About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Systems Analyst to provide technical and analytical support for a U.S. Army missile defense system. This role involves software and system analysis, verification and validation, code review, test execution, and reporting. As a Senior Software Systems Analyst, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Developing and reviewing plans and reports to ensure system and software operations comply with requirements and design specifications. Reviewing design, system, and test documentation related to requirements and test outputs. Providing technical expertise in data analysis throughout the verification and validation process. Developing post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to assess system performance. Performing detailed performance analyses, generating actionable insights, and recommending architectural or algorithmic improvements. Supporting and enhancing automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins. Collaborating with internal and external team members on daily technical activities.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active or eligible for DoW Security Clearance.
  • Strong programming skills: C, C++, Java, Python, HTML, MATLAB.
  • Experience with SDLC (Waterfall and Agile), V&V testing, and data validation.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, software standards (MIL-STD), and structured repositories (GIT, SharePoint).
  • Ability to participate in customer meetings, document findings, and remediate issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reviewing SRS, SDD, and other CDRL documents.
  • Experience with requirements, traceability and analysis.
