Requirements

8 years of experience working on government IT projects as a software developer or engineer.
8 years of experience building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
3 years of experience supporting information systems related to Water Quality or Safety.
Strong working knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrable expertise in software troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis.
Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Expertise in developing and executing software test cases.
Experience maintaining and upgrading existing software applications.
Leadership experience within technical teams.
Ability to estimate development effort for software requests.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across project and business teams.
Experience with Water Quality Exchange (WQX), SDWIS, SWIFT, and DW-SFTIES.
Experience utilizing Apache Tomcat and Java.
Previous collaboration or work experience with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and service/help desk ticket platforms.
