DCI is looking for a versatile engineer to focus on our data integration efforts while providing steady support for our core legacy applications. In this role, you will work alongside other developers to build and maintain the digital pipes that connect our internal systems with our customers and trading partners. Location: Tampa, FL or Channelview, TX Only candidates in these areas will be considered. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of at least three days per week in our Channelview or Tampa office. Some travel (<20%) may be required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US for any employer, we are unable to sponsor at this time.
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data transformations and API connectivity issues.
  • Solid programming skills in C# and the .NET framework.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building integrations with Boomi or Mulesoft.
  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
  • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker/ECS/Fargate).

Responsibilities

  • Integration Development (85%): Gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy point-to-point and multipoint integrations using AWS.
  • Application Maintenance (15%): Provide ongoing support, bug fixes, and minor enhancements for legacy ASP.NET and .NET Core websites.
  • Collaborative Delivery: Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and team stand-ups to ensure integration patterns are consistent and scalable.
  • AWS Support: Assist in managing integration workflows within our AWS environment (Lambda, EventBridge, S3)
  • Partner Coordination: Collaborate with technical counterparts at our trading partners to troubleshoot connectivity and data flow issues.
