As a Senior Software Integration Engineer supporting the MYSTICPOTIONS Subtask on the PaaS TTO, you’ll work on the backbone of a secure, large-scale Kubernetes environment supporting critical national objectives. Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a large-scale, multi-tenant Kubernetes “on-prem” cluster Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to integrate new services and enforce best practices Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Helm and Ansible Ensure high availability, performance, and security across the Kubernetes-based environment Support COTS/GOTS software integration, documentation, and sustainment updates Execute test code for software performance validation Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for proactive system oversight

Requirements

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous environment OR five (5) years of full-time directly related work in Computer Science may substitute for a degree with eight (8) years of experience OR industry-recognized certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience OR a Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
  • Strong Linux command-line experience
  • Scripting with Bash or Python
  • Kubernetes workload, networking, ingress, storage, and performance troubleshooting
  • Docker and containerization expertise
  • Kubernetes cluster administration and monitoring experience
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Helm, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and Git-based workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credential
