Requirements

  • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous environment OR five (5) years of full-time directly related work in Computer Science may substitute for a degree with eight (8) years of experience OR industry-recognized certification may substitute for one (1) year of experience OR a Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
  • Strong Linux command-line experience
  • Scripting with Bash or Python
  • Kubernetes workload, networking, ingress, storage, and performance troubleshooting
  • Docker and containerization expertise
  • Kubernetes cluster administration and monitoring experience
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Helm, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and Git-based workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credential

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a large-scale, multi-tenant Kubernetes “on-prem” cluster
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to integrate new services and enforce best practices
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Helm and Ansible
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across the Kubernetes-based environment
  • Support COTS/GOTS software integration, documentation, and sustainment updates
  • Execute test code for software performance validation
  • Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for proactive system oversight
