About The Position

SITEC is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and sustainment of a mission-critical Case Management & Tracking System (CMTS) in a secure operational environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys working hands-on with software integration, COTS technologies, system upgrades, and production deployment efforts. In this role, you will help bring an important auditing application into production by integrating it with a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Audit Management solution, implementing required security controls, and supporting the full lifecycle of testing, troubleshooting, enhancement, and sustainment. You will work closely with a fast-paced, highly visible team and collaborate with both technical stakeholders and leadership to ensure successful delivery and ongoing performance. We are looking for someone who is motivated, adaptable, and eager to become a subject matter expert in the technologies that support this mission.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development or software engineering
  • Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: cshtml Java SQL API integration and usage
  • Experience integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to software and computer systems
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take on challenges while building deep expertise in relevant tools and products

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Familiarity with: Microsoft IIS Server administration SQL Server Management Studio

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the Case Management & Tracking System (CMTS) into production
  • Integrate CMTS with an Audit Management COTS solution and implement necessary security controls
  • Support integration, testing, and production rollout of the application for the auditing organization
  • Work with and develop expertise in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products
  • Collaborate within a fast-paced, high-visibility team environment and participate in status and project meetings
  • Use cshtml, Java, SQL, and APIs to develop, maintain, and enhance the application
  • Help ensure reliable operation and performance using knowledge of Microsoft IIS, server administration, and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Communicate project status clearly to team members, stakeholders, and leadership with varying levels of technical familiarity
  • Identify project dependencies, assess impacts, and recommend contingency plans
  • Perform software upgrades, create test plans and procedures, and troubleshoot/debug existing software
  • Correct defects and contribute to the continuous improvement of the application
  • Provide task estimates for planning purposes and support Government roadmap activities
  • Prepare written deliverables such as user guides, system architecture documentation, and security plans
