We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer to work on the Zumwalt Baseline Management Integration & Test team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for integrating and testing complex software systems, and improving integration and test activities. The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background, who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting. You will work onsite in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

  • Integrate multiple interconnected subsystems, identifying and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test new software features.
  • Develop new automated tests and update existing code for modernized infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews for tools and automated tests, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Support test events in a software lab environment
  • This position requires exclusive onsite presence.
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in developing automation pipelines using industry tools such as Jenkins and Git.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.
  • Experience providing technical guidance/mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Software integration & test experience with larger systems or System of Systems
  • Experience with container technology tools such as Docker and Podman
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proven experience in developing complex systems and applications using C/C++, Java or other object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience leading small projects/efforts.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
