About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our Dual Band Radar Software Integration Team located in Tewksbury, MA. We integrate software developed in C++, C, and Java. This role will require travel to support our Navy customer, including at-sea underways. Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with C, C++, or Java development and Linux/Unix.
  • Active and transferrable final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Scripting experience with a language such as Perl, Bash, Kornshell.
  • Experience with network communication protocols.
  • Experience with Dual Band Radar.

Responsibilities

  • Tasks include software test and verification, data analysis and software tools development.
  • Support the platforms on which DBR operates by leading the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and configuration management of software builds with the radar system IBM P9 Integration.
  • Significant travel to perform software installs, provide radar operation support, data analysis, and address any emergent issues.
  • Perform integration and testing of application software, and tools that run on the AIX/UNIX operating system.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of tooling infrastructure.
