Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. One (1) year of experience must include: Working in an AWS data environment including EC2, S3, IAM, Security Groups, and VPCs; Using CI/CD pipelines; Data warehouse environments, concepts, and techniques such as data modeling and partitioning; Python; SQL; JSON; YAML; Spark; PySpark; Glue; Bitbucket; Jenkins; Databricks; Oracle DB; JSON; Agile; and Scrum.

  • Responsible for design and develop the new cloud ETL tools, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and data architecture using technologies including Python, Databricks, AWS Services, Spark, and SQL. Work on a team of passionate, and driven data engineers as they transition from traditional on-prem data engineering tools and platforms to the cloud using the newly developed ETL Framework and tools. Interact and communicate with other technical teams as well as business units on a regular basis to confirm requirements and test. Work in an Agile environment as part of a mature scrum team, actively participating in all sprint ceremonies and meeting.
