About The Position

At ServiceNow, Global Cloud Services Quality Engineering (GCS QE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of the global cloud infrastructure that powers all ServiceNow products. Our charter is to build and maintain tools and frameworks that enable developers and release teams to work efficiently, securely, and at scale. This includes tools engineering, automation, compliance integrations, and increasingly, AI-driven solutions that enhance reliability, reduce risk, and accelerate delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • 5+ years of experience with Java or C# programming
  • 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency with scripting in JavaScript.
  • Experience with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git
  • Knowledge of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks

Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
  • Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
  • Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
  • Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
