About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at Mercury Marine you will take part in the design and development of software that interacts with engine hardware. This will involve working on Cross Platform Mobile Applications in .Net. Design and develop robust, scalable, high performing production applications with users across the globe. Build internal systems and support team needs with your domain expertise. Work closely with various engineering teams, and business stakeholders. Select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, criteria, and judgment in a real-world, hands-on, cross-functional environment. Develop functional requirements and user stories, data analysis, documenting and authenticating testing results, and technical report writing. Work in and around watercraft. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in C# and .NET.
  • Experience with cross-platform iOS and Android mobile development.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, web applications and services, and embedded firmware including C#, Microsoft suite (.NET MAUI, Azure), Bluetooth, and JSON.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines, Git Flow, and general Agile methodologies.
  • A passion for software development, working in a team, and working with electronics, engines and control systems technology.
  • Familiarity with embedded software development is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with embedded software development.
