About The Position

We’re scaling fast and need a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team who can develop our state-of-the-art AI Platform used by the entire company and our customers. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of architecting and developing full-stack applications, strong interest in agentic workflows, and 4+ years working on web applications built with React/JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Databricks, and AWS.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.

We expect East Coast work hours.

Requirements

• You have 4+ years of hands‑on software development experience with a proven track record designing, building, and maintaining complex applications supporting data analytics use cases.
• You have hands‑on, production‑level expertise with AWS, Python, JavaScript, and React; familiarity with FastAPI, React, Databricks is a strong plus.
• You have an AI‑accelerated mindset — hands‑on experience piloting or institutionalizing developer‑productivity tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
• You are able to navigate ambiguity — you are able to understand key business problems and translate them into executable plans, and deliver concrete engineering outcomes quickly
• You are a highly motivated self-starter on the initiatives you work on and are eager to constantly learn new technologies.
• You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver key features of our AI Platform ecosystem - including both internal tools and external-facing applications, such as our customer-facing agentic experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across the whole stack, and report directly to the Chief Architect, who will provide hands‑on mentorship in cutting‑edge AI-native development, web, big data analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex to improve personal productivity, ship trustworthy solutions faster through harness engineering, code quality, and documentation.
• Collaborate with other application engineers, PMs, and stakeholders on evolving our application platform for scale, testability, and reliability.
• Produce clear documentation: create playbooks, docs, and training materials to institutionalize best practices.

• The annual on-target earnings for this position is anticipated to be up to $185K ~ $200K. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
• This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, and Mountain View. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
