Senior software engineers will work on many different projects and assume varying responsibilities.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in computer science or other relevant technical degrees
  • 4+ years of professional related experience in Java and object-oriented application development
  • Strong analytic skills and problem-solving skills, particularly as it relates to application design, development, and optimization
  • Deep understanding of architecture patterns such as multi-tenancy, scalability, and federation, to build cloud-native systems
  • Ability to analyze, design, and review the architecture with the architect of the group, and implement the prototypes
  • Excellent object-oriented programming, unit testing, debugging, and code review skills
  • Hands-on experience with Java, JMS, JSON, Test NG, relational databases, and SQL and scripting like shell scripting
  • Experience designing/implementing & troubleshooting high-performance integration solutions or web services using REST or microservices
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architectures
  • Experience with high-volume distributed application development in a SaaS environment (product-based companies)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative and Agentic AI is an added bonus
  • Experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Quartz Scheduler & Cloud infrastructure is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the platform development for the next generation FMK products that help to retain its leadership position in the marketplace.
  • Works closely with architects to review design proposals and to implement the design for complex components for a high-performance orchestration engine that supports large volume marketing transactions. These components have to interact with many subsystems in the Fusion Marketing eco-system.
  • Deliver high-quality code and documentation on time in a faster-paced environment.
  • Acquires knowledge of existing code and refactors the code as needed to meet the demands of the evolving platform.
  • Becomes a technical evangelist who craves for high performance & quality delivery.
  • Applies and encourages colleagues to apply intelligently customized industry’s best practices.
  • Keeps up to date on the latest technologies and stays in touch with the rapid evolution of the field.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
