About The Position

This Technical Task Order supports a suite of secure, web-based applications that automate and streamline data management for IC data custodians. These mission-critical tools capture the information and approvals needed to move data securely and compliantly across the customer’s mission space. By standardizing and simplifying data flow, the applications enable greater data reuse and seamless integration with downstream systems and analytic platforms. The Technical Task Order is executed at the Peraton contractor facility. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a dynamic and established software development effort where your expertise will directly shape applications critical to mission success. This role is a unique opportunity to apply advanced Java development skills while expanding your experience with modern frameworks like Quarkus and PrimeFaces. As part of a collaborative Agile team, you will help design and deliver innovative solutions that improve how data is managed, moved, and leveraged across the enterprise. Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Note: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in the following areas:
• Designing and implementing complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints.
• Performing quality control and review of team products.
• Implementing recommendations to improve documentation and software development process standards.
• Collaborating with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements, and identify project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Coordinating software system installations and monitoring equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and enhance Java-based applications in support of mission requirements.
• Collaborate with an Agile team to translate customer needs into high-value features and capabilities.
• Leverage modern frameworks and tools (e.g., Quarkus, PrimeFaces) to create scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
• Support the integration of applications with downstream systems and tools.
• Ensure compliance with security and data management standards while enabling data innovation.
