About The Position

We’re hiring Senior Software Engineers to help shape the future of private markets. At Sydecar we make it easy for investors to support entrepreneurs and startups by simplifying the deal execution process behind the scenes. You’ll play a key role in building powerful, intuitive tools—making it faster and easier to get deals done. You’ll take on meaningful and exciting challenges—from launching new features for Fund+, to scaling our infrastructure, to leveling up our successful SPV product with experiences that delight and empower our users. Requirements

  • Effective collaborator who communicates clearly and enjoys working with and mentoring teammates.
  • At least five years of experience as a software engineer, working in a modern Object Oriented Programming (OOP) language.
  • Strong track record of shipping well-tested, user-facing features in fast-paced product environments.
  • Strong problem-solver who can navigate edge cases, debug tricky issues, and design systems that scale.
  • Takes ownership of work, values clarity in code and communication, and consistently delivers high-quality results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in fintech, especially around payments or compliance.
  • Fluency in Typescript
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and cloud platforms like GCP.
  • Exposure to NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL, or React Testing Library.
  • Prior experience building tools for internal teams or backend platforms.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver full-stack solutions in TypeScript (React + NestJS).
  • Lead projects from concept to deployment, balancing speed and scalability.
  • Write thoughtful tests and maintain a high-quality codebase using tools like React Testing Library and Playwright.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a healthy, collaborative team culture.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and product ideation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, design, and operations.
