Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development for the Insights Hub and related products. The Insights Hub is a web-based application that supports Caterpillar and its dealer community by offering one location to request and view analytical dashboards, data extractions, and direct pipelines into snowflake. This role will partner with an off-shore development team to offer technical guidance and help support any technical issues that arise during the day.

Extensive background with Python programming

Responsibilities

Designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications for the Insights Hub using agile methods.
Writing source codes for new business functions, and/or generating and enhancing code for existing applications.
Providing technical guidance to the off-shore development team
Technical troubleshooting of the existing systems
Finding ways of improving existing processes through automation and fine tuning
