Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on building robust and scalable applications.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate code generation, automate boilerplate reduction, and streamline debugging workflows.
  • Proven ability to leverage LLMs to refactor legacy codebases, improve code readability, and generate comprehensive documentation and unit tests.
  • Extensive experience with web development frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Angular, React, Vue.js) and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry or with HIPAA compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using modern technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define requirements, create technical specifications, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our software architecture, infrastructure, and development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to our products.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of applications in a cloud-based environment.
